So it snowed last night. Usually when it snows you alter your driving right? Well I was taking my daughter to school this morning at had an experience which is just pathetic. I was dropping her off and started to attempt to pull out and drive away. There was a couple of cars coming so I let them pass and then started to pull out. Well, I needed to turn left but there was a car coming the other direction so I stopped to wait to turn left. Well this idiot lady in a want-a-be SUV (fake SUV) goes around me on the left, into oncoming traffic and actually passes the oncoming traffic on the left and turn left. Now mind you this is on in the school parking lot... the oncoming traffic came to a halt very quickly.
So really we allow idiot moms like this one (dang I wish I would have had my phone to take a pic with!) drive - with a 1 ton metal box - around the school. But yet law abiding citizens who are responsible are not allowed to carry a gun on school property to protect ourselves and our kids. Who is protecting kids from parents like this? Seriously had there been a kid walking in the parking lot we'd have been the top story on the 5 PM news.
As you can tell, I'm frustrated but this mom probably feels entitled to do whatever she wants.
