So apparently we are gluttons for punishment. Apparently remodeling the bathroom didn't teach us how hard it was and we've decided to do it again...this time only bigger!
The kitchen...
Yeah we aren't smart,bBut it is what it is. So we have already pick out a paint color and Walker and Son's will be doing the cabinets again. So here is the plan.
Monday - Really nothing to do but take a deep breath and realize what we are doing
Tuesday - Unload all the cupboards
Wednesday - Demo day. Remove everything
Thursday - Painting day
Friday -Touch-ups
Saturday - Cabinet install
Tonight I actually got started and removed a couple of the cupboards. Each had about 5 screws and then had to be pried off the wall. Wasn't too bad but I will have to add some spackle to the wall.
Previously we had picked out a sink and faucet at lowe's (we had a coupon!). We looked around and Lowe's really had the best selection of dishwashers in Pocatello. We picked one out and luckily we had hit them when they had a sale (20% off!) going on. Pretty cool. We're only replacing the dishwasher. Our stove and fridge are in great shape, but our current dishwasher just sucks.
So here we go again.. No pictures tonight. I'm tired, see my P90x post.

P90x workout log for 3/28/11
Today at lunch I should mention that I was able to put down 6 miles. The course is pretty hilly but I took it pretty easy so I would have energy for my chest and back workout tonight.
Basically I wasn't satisfied with week one. I was sick and really didn't understand the program. So I am basically starting over. Tonight's workout went pretty well. I feel pretty good and I'm more than positive I'm going to be real sore tomorrow.
The best part of the workout was that this also included abripperX. I was able to do about 85% of the reps tonight, which means I am making progress. Tomorrow is Plyometrics so that should be real fun.

P90x Log 3/22
Today was a arms and shoulders workout. I thought it went pretty well. The key to this workout is choosing the correct weight or bands. Once again I was able to keep up and still manage to be tired after the workout. Prior to the P30k workout, I did a 2.5 mile recovery jog out at the AMI trail in Pocatello. The Pylometrics workout really had me sore in the hamstrings. So on this run I would run for 3-4 minutes and stop and stretch a little. doing that took me about 20 minutes. Probably wasn't the most productive workout but it was better than nothing.

P90X workout - Pylometrics
Day two of P90x was Plyometrics. I really enjoyed this workout. All of these moves are simulations of stuff you would do playing basketball, football, soccer, etc. It definitly was hard, although I was able to hang with Tony the entire time. A couple of time I had to modify, but next time i'll do it 100%.
Great workout today... time for work.

Changed my background color
I changed my background color. It seems like with the black some of the pictures from the older posts show up better.
Tell me what you think!

I took the plunge (p90x)
So I've done it! I took a life changing plunge... I got p90X. Friday evening I took the time to read the materials and try and figure out what this program was all about. There are two parts: the workouts and the diet. The cool thing about this diet is that it lets you eat. In fact based on the calculations that I did I actually need to eat more while doing the workouts. It is however a bit of a change in what I eat. The diet cuts out a lot of dairy which mean no ice cream. But they do encourage you to eat lots of other good foods.
On saturday 3-19 I did the first workout, Chest and Back and Ab RipperX. My goodness it was hard. I actually thought during the Chest and Back part that yeah, I can do this. But as I got into the Ab workout I wanted to die. Today I hurt pretty bad, but its a good hurt.
